I closed a home last month. I have been living with my parents for a year after my divorce. I decided to go for it and bought a home. But I got hit with eye surgery and another back surgery. Due to health reasons I decided not to move to the new home as my family are caring me.
Would it be an issue if I rented my home this year and moved in next year?

If you have a VA loan you are supposed to occupy the residence within 60 days and can’t rent it out for a year. The only issue is that it’s illegal, otherwise no big deal.
I recommend consulting a real estate attorney. Pay the money and have it air tight. If you legitimately need care, and cannot live alone, then you should be ok. Again, I would consult and attorney so that you don’t accidentally commit mortgage fraud.
