I constantly have to remind myself how it felt wasting time on nonsense. This thought usually gives anxiety before my mind can process what’s going on and to fight this I will zero in on whatever needs to be done. For me FEAR is the Best way to focus

    2. Breaking things down into smaller action items that I need to do. If I look at a big project I get paralyzed, but if I go down my checklist and see a bunch of small tasks I need to work on I can just pick one and get going.

I know how unfair the world is to broke people, the fear keeps me on my grind

It’s normal for motivation to peak and trough.

Having someone else on the project is a huge source of motivation for me during those difficult times.

It reminds me that I’m not just doing it for my family, but for his too.

    5. What do you fear, and what do you want to obtain?

For me, inaction means continuing to live the life I’m currently in. It means I’m stuck in an emotionally abusive household. It means I’m stuck in a job that would fire me if there was a legal way to do so. It means being stuck in the 9-5 rat race. It means days and days of soul destroying full time employment, barely having enough time to recover over the weekend, and doing it over and over again. It means being stuck in financial enslavement, with barely enough to get by, let alone live a healthy and fulfilling life.

What I want is freedom. Freedom so I can enjoy a safe home. Freedom to care for myself and eventually for my family. Freedom so I can say and do as I wish. Freedom to protect and help those who I hold dear.

You need to work out what makes you want to do the things you’re looking to do as an entrepreneur, and the consequences of inaction.

I’ll leave you with a quote that I go to often: “Nothing changes if nothing changes”.

    6. Meh, mere motivation can be fickle.

I really like how Mike Israetel (fitness/training guy) explains that if you want to look it up. He dissects what will “drive” you during your journey.

Motivation is like the spark to start a combustion engine – you might need it to start your car, unless you have a more efficient (electric) model.

But what motivates me? Knowing why I’m doing what I do. Treating my business like an exciting game/adventure. Dedicating time to getting inspired, whatever that looks like.

It doesn’t work all the time though. Sometimes shit gets hard. It’s life. Then the only way is to try our best to keep moving at least a little bit and be kind to ourselves until it gets better and we hit the next moment of expansion.

And in moment of expansion, build good systems that supports us, so you can “fall to the level of your systems” when you hit a bump in the road.

For me it’s not about motivation – I find a problem I care about, customers I care about, and have a system. Even on days where motivation is low my system keeps me going. I’m sure everyone has their own ways though!

    8. The BEST way to stay motivated is to fabrique a product or commercialize a service that you’re PROUD and/or Excited to create it : every time that you go in the business !

But if IN THE START, you don’t feel excited to commercialize a product or service : there is chances that TIME will burn your hungry progressively !

Well i got 3 kids and about 10k worth of monthly bills…. that should be enough motivation…

    10. Watching weekly sales going up and money being transferred into my account always kept me motivated.

    11. Early on, i’d focus on when i booked a meeting as big win. i knew if i booked enough, i’d close a deal. find what KPI in you biz you need to track that you can hit and use it to fuel your energy

You don’t need motivation, you need discipline. You’re not gonna be motivated every day to do work. The top guys see motivation as a bonus to making work easier & faster.

Seeing success is a huge motivator, but when things go really downhill I tend to work even harder.

The world is always moving forward.

It’s either stay motivated to keep up and get ahead, or stay still and fall behind.

Well I am getting a job a full time job that will pay me not less than 80k .. and I am gonna have the pay amazing career for the next 20 years to make up for what the government did to my career and visa and the people who cast their evil eyes on my hardwork due to sheer envy and jealousy and cursed my blessings

Knowing if I do it right and keep going I could own my own empire and be in control of my future, use time how I want to. Sure the grind right now is overwhelming but there is a certain pride for me pulling away from a job site and knowing what I got is mine and that I did a good job. My hard work has paid off and I got plenty of opportunity ahead of me.

    16. Knowing that I do not want to go back to where I was originally and to give a better life for all those around me as well as myself…

Not only that but finding something that you can be passionate about definitely can be fulfilling
