getting positioned in base meme coins and how exactly to do that first getting set up to trade you’re going to want to use metamasks you’re going to need to set that up load it up with some ethereum and you need to switch to the base Network for that you can go to Bas scan.org scroll to the bottom and click add base to metamask now base doesn’t have its own token it’s an ethereum layer to so you’re going to need to use ethereum for gas fees but it needs to either be bridged across and you can do that via the official Bridge or to send it directly from an exchange like coinbase to your wallet but select to send it on base instead of ethereum so you make sure it gets to the right place and that’s it now if if you’re on the base network with some bridged ethereum then you are ready to rock and roll and start deing into some memes you can already use Unis swap to go and buy coins just as you would if you were buying on ethereum one warning though you do need to make sure that you are buying the right coin tickers and a good way to be certain is by getting the actual contract address from an official site like coin market cap or coin Gecko and then pasting it into Unis swap for for example let’s say you want to buy the very popular and currently the biggest meme coin on base which is Brett we can go to the Brett Twitter account and seees from its followers and an engagement that it’s the real Brett account from there click over to the Brett website copy the contract address and paste it into Unis swap so that you know you’re buying the right token because there’s lots of imposters out there having said that Brett is relatively famous it’s been listed on okx and many other big exchanges so you can actually buy it on Exchange if you want to we’re talking about how to super very earliest wildest riskiest stages so you won’t get that 10 billion x whatever return but jumping on the train when it’s already got some momentum can bag some really nice gains as it moves
