Hello as a person who has recently left my job to pursue my side hustle full time, I have periods where I feel like I have nothing to do. I know for any business there is always something to do but I am trying to get advice on something I can work on that'll help the business long run. Eg things that don't seem like they'll have much effect but in the long term may generate results or make your life easier.
What do you guys work on during the quieter periods to help your business in the long run?
I was thinking along the lines of emailing former clients etc
Your advice appreciated
What is something productive I can work on when I feel like I have “nothing” to do?

Build a routine.
Take time off for yourself and mental health. Like if you feel like this then go outside, enjoy the nature and meditate. But do these if you finished your daily tasks or if you feel “bombed”.
Consider investing time in refining your business plan, networking with potential partners, or researching industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
System Improvements. Whatever business model you have you can always spend time thinking about areas where you can improve or add value. I think of it like A/B testing but for internal operations. If you have a hard time figuring things out start sending out surveys or put feedback forms everywhere and just ask what can be improved. You’ll fill your todo list up little by little this way.
Healthy habits. You might also want to check r/selfimprovement. Try doing arts? Something which you can express yourself with.
Rehearsing your pitch in the mirror.
Do something kind or loving to random people. The more u give love and radiate love, naturally more good things will happen in ur life
