Got in a minor fender bender on my motorbike, they didn't indicate and just slammed breaks when they realised they were about to miss their turn. However, Whoever ends up in the rear is who is at fault. It was nothing major. Just a small crack on the rear fender.

Anyway, I offered to pay to have it fixed at a body shop and they agreed. If something happens in future can they turn around and try to claim against me after already accepting the repairs?

Can someone let you pay for repairs then also claim insurance after?

Did you draft a release and have them sign it?
If not, then yea they could claim it afterwards

Just let your insurance know that you had attempted to handle outside of insurance if that happens and let them know how much you paid and such

This will probably be a slight annoyance to the adjuster assigned but it does happen occasionally
