I have spent my career hopping from job to job with the intention of learning everything I need to know in order to run my own business. Most of my background is in sales, but have done a few years each of software tech, CRM management, marketing, inventory management and project management. I have my bachelors in Business Administration and I have no problem putting in the work.

I thought I would eventually figure out what I want my business to be by trying lots of new things. I just cannot for the life of me decide what to sell. My current job is WFH and my workload is very low and it would be easy to make cold calls during the day.

Is anyone able to point me in the right direction?

If you had all the time in the world what business would you start?

    1. I would start making fossils of species that exist today and selling them to Aliens in approximately 100 MY

Jokes aside. What can you sell, today, and to whom, so you earn to live for a week or a month?

      Do that. Otherwise, you can’t.

Idealistically, I’d love to help people in water deprived parts of the planet access the WATER MOISTURE IN THE AIR through solar powered devices called ATMOSPHERIC WATER GENERATORS

This would reduce the risk of cholera which kills so many children in developing countries

At this rate, I’m thinking about getting back to the basics and going for local market services (cleaning, mobile detailing, property management).

Digital businesses are great, but with how fast AI is moving who knows what’s to come. Unless you’re a savage at brand building or have a lot of capital, it’s getting more and more difficult to create meaningful scale.

    4. Think about what makes you different to 80% of other people. That’s what you can offer that most people can’t. Do you have different life experiences, talents, passions, experiences and skills???
