We have very similar mortgages and interest rates. I currently rent mine out for 3k a month but hire a property manager to handle all the tenant responsibilities. They take $150 off the top. It works for us for now but it’s also not an asset I plan on owning forever.
I’d say moving overseas is a good reason to sell and that’s probably what I would do. Think about it and crunch the numbers more before you decide.
You could be renting for up to $3750-3950 before you run into people who would rather buy the same house at current interest rates.
I’d hold and rent it out. Make sure you screen your tenants.
