I enjoy running and can run a 7 minute mile for around 3 miles so I assume I am at least able to give a varied level of pacing for clients.

What I wanted to offer in general are set locations (relative to client addresses), provide water and potentially sunblock and ibuprofen/acetaminophen (more a courtesy than a service but potential expense).

My area seems fitness oriented, but I think having a partner may aide others to fulfill their desired objectives. It may make someone feel more comfortable getting started, feel safer being with someone they can trust.

I would take precautions such as getting client relevant health information e.g. diabetes and only using my cheap phone in the event someone tries to rob/scam me.

How would I go about charging for the services? I feel I would do a prepay service where they can give me the required info like time and date, desired pace and course challenge e.g. flat or hilly areas.

I was thinking a flat rate for 30 minutes, say $30 (30 minutes) and $55 for (1hr) or something relative to distance. Not really sure about the pay model. I think 1 hr per client would be it for me and of course limit the number of clients I take on per day.

    What do you guys think?

Edit: maybe the website can have a few affiliate products to suggest to clients?

    1. Don’t know about this, I personally wouldn’t pay to go for a run with a random person but i do get that running by yourself can be very lonely and de motivating unless you’ve got some fire music. Idk. But your title instantly gave me the idea of like a dating app for runners. Like you put how fast you are and preferred distances, maybe link your strava account. And then you can run with people. Sounds interesting.
