I was recently involved in a car crash because of a negligent driver. I was seeking care all this time and pretty close to getting the treatment completed. For some reason, they are not ready to go my billings through my health insurance and rather go through my attorney. They are giving some bullshit reasons and finally told me they can't move forward with my health insurance. Please help me out here

And what did your attorney say? They’re taking a chunk of your settlement for a reason.
Your provider doesn’t want to bill your health insurance because your health insurance is going to turn around and deny the claims because the negligent driver is at fault and their insurance will be paying out – assuming they have liability coverage. It’s not bullshit, they don’t want the hassle of getting paid by your health insurance only for health insurance to recoup the money.
