I'm focused on B2B sales. I'm new at this, and have zero contacts. I will rely on reaching out via email- and they will all be cold- so I trust this will be a burdensome process. (If you have any suggestions, please lemme know). A quick question:

I'm not sure how lengthy to make this email. Should I just write a quick paragraph- like hey i think you coudl benefit from this? Or should i include a few paragraphs and pinpoints such as: why us, about our product, benefits for you, etc.

Where is the balance? I'm trying to think like them- when I see an email that looks too salesy- i skip it, knowing full well its some form letter sent through Mailchimp or whatever.

But i also imagine I can't just sent a sentence or two, cu even though that would be short and simple, it maybe wonn't inspire them to respond.

Any advice or suggestions on how to make these work?

    1. I’m not a marketing or sales outreach expert, so hopefully someone who is could give you some advice here. What I would recommend is going through the cold emails you’ve received and see which pitches YOU would entertain as a consumer. Pick a few of them, and try to dissect them and see what worked. At the same time, look at the ones you would definitely ignore. Use those to make a list of things to avoid.

    2. Have you thought about using personalized video for cold outreach emails? It certainly works for certain B2B sales and you can scale and automate it using tools like LeadsEngager.com.

    3. Totally get the struggle with cold emails. Length wise, keep it concise but valuable. Think a short intro, quick benefit pitch, and maybe a call to action. Too long and it screams ‘spam’ too short and it lacks punch. Also, consider using multiple mailboxes to spread out the sends and avoid getting flagged… heard tools like mailforge can help with that.

    4. The first mistake I see is that you want to fit everything into one email. You need to start thinking about a sequence. Keep your subject line short, ideally under three words. Same with your email. Make sure that it’s not too long because most people open emails on their phone. When you’re writing the email, try to put yourself in your prospect’s shoes and only talk about what they want to hear. So, for example, instead of talking about what you do, talk about what they get (the result). Keep it simple and DM me if you need more help because this is just 1 small piece of the B2B outreach puzzle
