Hey everyone!

I'm a marketer with a burning question for the entrepreneurial minds.

I've got $10k saved up and I'm itching to invest it in making a lead generation agency.

Ideally, I'd like to see a return of 1- 2k per month within 3-6 months.

Now, I know there's no magic formula, but I'd love to hear your battle-tested strategies!

Whether it's specific marketing channels, content creation hacks, or even under-the-radar tactics, all advice is welcome.

P.S. Feel free to share any resources (articles, courses, etc.) that you've found particularly helpful.

    Thanks in advance!

How would you invest 10k ?

Probably the most generic answer but, it’s the obvious one… use it to make an advertisement to get leads then sell those leads.

      First, find cash rich clients.

There is nothing more draining than chasing a client who talks a big game and then cannot pay at crunch time.
Also, it may be easier to stick to one industry, so you always know your buyer. You choose, though.

Secondly, how are you validating leads for quality? Just passing leads through, or can you book a meeting in?

Consider lifetime value of a lead for those businesses. Is it $5,000 in the first year and $10,000 every year after – say 10 years?

Sign them up for subscription 1 lead per month is $1000.
Get 6 in play and signed off for subscription agreements for these terms. Remember to remind them of the lifetime value before asking them to commit to such an expensive service.

You should be able to achieve all of this via email or phone calls. Free.

Use the $10k to attract leads.
If there are too many leads, don’t provide them to clients for free.
Provide them as a gift to get new clients on reciprocity rules. Alternatively, get them signed up just the same as the others if they’re not interested in taking a gift because it can be harder to do over digital channels.

Aim for 10 clients after 6 months of track record.
You might also offer a 20% off for 3 months in exchange for a testimonial.

This is one business model that I operate.

Probably by the average cost per lead by industry he means.

Or to find where the money are and go there, I got his point and actually it is a very good answer to my post.

      Thank you for that!

    4. With 10k I’d build a sales funnel and have 2 suppliers to fulfill the job.

      some kind of broker.

    5. Hey, interesting idea for the lead gen agency! how are u managing outreach? I’m currently revamping mine & using tools like mailforge to split sends across multiple mailboxes. Seems promising but kinda overwhelming to set up. would love to hear what u think!

Had set 7k aside that went straight into emergency fund. You never know, can cross the street and have a car accident etc. Just invest 3k to sort out leads from your 10k followers on Insta etc. Have a service 4 that too, 12 yrs experience, welcome to dm.
