PSA: Do NOT use moomoo. They do not allow transfer out option position!!

I moved some of my positions into moomoo this month for the 1.5% promotion.

Well, after tingling with them for a few weeks I decided it's not for me and time for a move again. Surprised mf, they will not let you transfer your options, whether you initiate the transfer at moomoo (thru DTC) or at the receiving firm. Nowhere in their FAQ is it mentioned!

I was told in no less than three separate times I must liquidate my options otherwise I'm stuck with them. Basically my money is held hostage. I'm not even going to talk about their ridiculous maintenance requirement which eats up a lot of capital.

So, don't be stupid like me. DO NOT USE moomoo!
