Home buying questions

Hi All,

I am new to the process of buying a house. What all should i be knowing and what should i be learning in regards to VA loan, closing costs etc. Was inclined mostly towards a new construction. Also i want to understand how this 3 % buying and 3 % selling works with the realtor. Can someone please explain me this? I am actually looking for a house in northern virginia so wanted to see as to which bank to approach i understand it depends on my credit but a rough idea would help.

This process is quite stressful so did not know where to start. Has everyone felt the same?
