My husband and I are currently under contract for our new house, and we are still shopping around for a good mortgage company. I just received my COE VA loan letter. What other paperwork should I provide the mortgage company? Our closing date is approx. 6/26. Do I need my DD214 and my VA disability paperwork?
As a side note, I looked into Veterans United for our home loan, and they seem…pushy. They will not give us an estimated rate whereas other mortgage companies did it after a soft credit check.
