Are you trying to change your legal residence for either school or tax purposes? Or is it just the convenience of having a local driver’s license?

I am a legal Florida resident, but have an out of state address on it. So if I get pulled over, the police can’t freak out because it shows I “reside” in the state, but my tag and DL are still Florida, since I claim that as my legal residence
