Got into a wreck and went with my own insurance and got a check deposited to my bank account. Can I keep the money and fix the car myself? I own the car as well.

You can do whatever you want with it if you have no lienholder.
It’s your car, since it’s paid off, so you can go spend on hookers and blow for all they care just realize it will be a deduction if ever totaled or if you ever have an accident again in same area.
You can go to Jamaica or buy lottery tickets if u want to.
