I know Walmart and other companies like Amazon, Nike, etc. continue to pay the difference between civilian and military salaries, benefits, and sometimes full salary for reservists and National Guard service members who go on military leave.
Does anyone have an idea if this would also apply to those who voluntarily enlist into full-time active duty? Googling pretty much shows examples of reservists and national guard members getting differential pay, and I also came across a Honeywell policy page that explicitly excludes voluntary full time active duty from the paid leave policy. So I'm guessing it might not apply. But if there are companies that have a paid leave benefit/policy for full time enlistees, I'd love to know!
