Intel isn’t looking so good right now, especially with its some people considers a failed attempt at entering the GPU market, but it’s looking good for their B-series GPU cards, there will be competition in the GPU market with AMD, NVIDIA, and Intel, and they will pump out as much resources to have the best GPU that is not just good but also cheap, so much more people will buy it, and the Intel Arc B-Series cards offers those, it may not be as good as NVIDIA, but it may be comparable to the likes of AMD, and I personally think Intel is undervalued right now, whats your call for Intel?

    1. Arc is honestly good for the price point. Gamersnexus does some overviews of how they’ve performed.

    2. Intel has some good for value GPU, but I think they had some problems with drivers, and thats why people dont buy them. Could be wrong, was a while I was looking at getting one.

I think their video cards are good, and they did go ahead of AMD upscaling tech wise.

But they basically bet the company on fabs, so that is going to set whether the stock performs in the mean time.

I really like INTC at this price point. Government subsidies and investments in foundries will be paying off over the long term. US government won’t allow them to continue to fall back on chip superiority.

The comparisons here should be to AMD/NVIDIA, but to TSM. It’s really a two player system for chip manufacturing.

I loaded up on INTC at $31, but I also hold an equal share of TSM.

If INTC falls further behind, TSM can start charging whatever they want for their chips, and AMD and NVIDIA will have to pay it. If they become too profitable, TSM will just start charging more.

      Is my logic wrong?

I hope Intel gets their shit together and focus more on ARM than x86 CPUs… We’ve seen Microsoft, Google and Apple design their own ARM chips because of their massive performance/watt advantage. All 3 mentioned companies produce their chips at TSMC because Intel can’t deliver it and needs to open up for contract manufacturing for other companies.

    6. People really think intel and amd will just stand around and let nvidia take control of the whole gpu, cpu and ai market

    7. Gaming GPUs is not really where the big money is at in tech anymore. It’s more like a side hustle for the tech companies that makes a “little” money. Just look at how Nvidia actually makes its profits. Data centers and the professional level GPUs is the money makers and increasing much faster.

    8. Intel can suck my 0.1 inch cock. Such a bloated company desperately clinging onto their glory days. They seem to have “woken up” now but I think it’s way too late given how far ahead the competition is

    9. My main thoughts are a few years out. Maybe it’s a buy. I’d rather put my money in QCOM AMD and TSM in the short term.

    10. Intel is dog water, just look at their CAGR. They have the worse press management of any chip company. The only reason they’re not @25 right now is because their touting chips that compete with Nvidia which they won’t be able to profitably produce for years. They gave up on being competitive in their market and they’ve suffered for it. They’ve fallen behind so much because of that I doubt they’ll ever, ever catch up.

it seems that all the real revenue is coming from data centers/cloud, so idk if intel can compete. it doesn’t matter how many personal computers they sell.

Man you INTC bagholders are really getting annoying trying to find anything possible to subtly make it look good so you can offload your bags

INTC’s only bull case now is their fabs performing well, that was what caused the initial recovery upwards. The sell off is a combination of no new news, people not believing in Gelsinger’s promises because of all the delay of key dates, and [one of their mega fabs location hitting a snag during construction](https://malaysia.news.yahoo.com/intels-future-multi-billion-dollar-142522552.html?.tsrc=fp_deeplink).

Also the GPU market revenue is peanuts to them, it’s just a good to have and show they’re trying to diversify business. [Gelsinger already said he bet everything on the 18A fab](https://www.pcgamer.com/intel-ceo-admits-ive-bet-the-whole-company-on-18a/), no institutes is gonna add more until it’s done AND starts showing result.

Just because you can afford to buy shares and think it’s cheap, doesn’t mean it’s undervalued. Its market cap is 154b and they’re losing market share every year to all their competitors in every single one of their business. But hey, if you want to hold it for 10 yrs for MAYBE a chance of a gain while rest of the market flies, you can feel free to do so.

Why buy shit on a shingle (intel), when you can have filet mignon(nvda)?

    14. No one cares about gpus for gaming, its all about datacenters with gpus for AI

Actually the arc cards aren’t bad. Their issues really were with older direct x titles. But they are definitely a solid mid range card.

Considering it’s third first to market, it is a good sign for us PC gamers for competition
