Sorry if this has been asked before, new 2LT leaving ROTC and trying to figure the whole PPM thing out from my hometown to BOLC.
I have 2 cars. One pickup and one sedan. I was planning on trailering the car to tow with the truck. My cadre told me to weigh the car as “household goods” so I make more money in the move. They said it’d be fine, but from what I’ve read it sounds illegal, and I’m not trying to start off my career getting investigated by CID.
Also, do I actually have to go to a transpo office at a base somewhere to get a PPM approved? Or can I just save every receipt and bring all the necessary forms (found what I think are the right ones online) to bring to the office at BOLC?
