Currently in the planning and design phase for a fitness/nutrition online business. Certified personal trainer here. The premise is that my business will be easier, cheaper, and more cost effective than other personal training/nutrition sites, but will be slightly more hands off.

The clients will subscribe to a weekly subscription and get unlimited q&a and training/nutrition programs, motivational messages, etc, all over text.

Any feedback/advice would be greatly appreciated

    1. Things to think about.
Who is going to use this service? I would love a personal poke to get my ass working out, but I’m not going to pay for it. So I’m not your market, but I know it’s out there.

What is the value of your service? I get a lower cost for less interaction, but what is the value of that? To me, that sounds like you are just getting a reduced value.

I’m guessing you are going for the experienced gym goer that is experienced enough to know what to do, but too lazy to make their own plan(in the most respectful way possible). You just need to adjust your messaging to attract your target audience.

Sounds like a solid concept! How will you handle scalability with unlimited Q&A?

there are tons of free workout programs and free nutrition knowledge there on internet, I think it’s hard for you to beat them in normal niche.

But there is still one part, wrokout program for total beginners, for example me, I cannot find a program for myself for long, I tried r/bodyweightfitness recommend routine, but I cannot even finish the warm up part, most programs I find are for advanced workout people.

So now I just gave up finding plan and program, only do prank pushups from time to time.

So you might can focus on this part, trying to help such kind of people, help these people make plans, and build a community for weak people to communicate and motivate each other.
