I was in an accident on September 1st, 2023 and i got a call months later that insurance denied coverage because i was doing grubhub at the time of the accident. I really cant afford to pay 4k for the accident so i was wondering is there anyway to fight this at all? Or anything i can do?

The only thing you can do is file a claim with grub hub 1st party coverage if they even offer it (doubtful)

Driving for any delivery services like a taxi, Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, grubhub etc is an exclusion. Your policy was a personal policy, that’s why it’s excluded

I’m afraid you are going to be responsible for this accident. There is no way you can fight it. You already would have been made away of the insurance rules when you signed up to drive with Grubhub. They do not provide any liability coverage so you are 100% liable for all damages. Your personal auto insurance will not cover you either as you need a business use add-on rider to your personal policy which is expensive as you are an independent contractor.
