It almost feels like the only working business in this group is marketin. Every second post is "i started marketing business and i am making 2.8M/yr, ask me anythin, this is how i did it."

No other businesses in this sub? If not, they should rename it to marketing_entrepreneur?

Is marketing business the only gold mine ever exists?

Nah, there is also plenty of ecom entrepreneurs making 10k a month revenue (with only 12k in ad spent).

    2. The thing about marketing is that there is almost always a demand for it. The only time demand drops is at the start of a recession, when businesses often pull back their budgets. But then they realize they aren’t bringing in new money, so they need to ramp back up their marketing.

Marketing is a huge niche, but if someone is offering just “marketing services for businesses” it’s almost certain they’re barely making money.

The most successful businesses like this are niche’d down to a very specific group of people and area.

There are so many other successful business types, there’s so many ways to make money online. Service/coaching/done for you type businesses are the easiest to get into though as it requires 0$ to start.

They are using Reddit to get customers for the cheap.
“Look at me, I made this client 25909x on his ad spent”

What do you think happens next? In a sub full of entrepreneurs/business owners? A certain percentage will DM them and they don’t have to go through the whole ordeal of paying for ads, getting their email, writing an email sequence, putting testimonials on a landing page, hoping they connect on an introductory call etc…they skip all of those steps

    6. No. Web Design, Copywriting or Recruitment.

I do Recruitment now, I did a franchise work from home thing that I paid £300 and £30 a month. The company have the jobs and I get a percentage of their salary. I still have a job and work around it. Just emails and calls basically, ringing around and sorting interviews.

If you’ve got a skill, just market yourself. Think who wants what you can offer.

There are plenty of other areas for sure but marketing is a huge niche that’s why. Good money too.
