I live in an apartment complex in Pennsylvania. Last night, severe winds blew over the privacy fence I park near and left a sizable dent in my car door.
Is this something the landlord would be liable for, or would I submit a claim through my auto insurance or renters insurance?
Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Probably not. Auto
Severe winds blew over fence – landlord is not liable – would be act of nature. This would fall under your comprehensive coverage, if you have it, on your auto policy.
Makes sense! I’ll submit a claim through insurance. Thanks!
Your landlord has no control over severe winds so he’s not liable. You’d need to file on your insurance assuming you have comprehensive on your policy.
