Just want to see if anyone else has had this problem and figured it out because idk what to do. So back in December 2023 I made a payment throught the aetna app on a claim. Come February when I went to finish paying off my claim the app no longer allowed payment. So I contacted the provider to pay the rest. Then I come to find out the payment I made on the app never went to the provider however it came out of my account and I have a bank statement showing it. I contacted Aetna and they told me they'd retry sending it. Come end of March my money is still lost and they said they'd contact there department that handles this and get back to me. Its now the end of May and I've gotten letters from a debt collector. Everytime I call aetna its the same thing they'll contact someone with my case and it may take 7 to 10 days. I tryed calling my bank but the payment has been over 60 days so they cant recover it. Not sure what to do at this point.

Have you called your bank?

Contact the office of your state’s insurance commissioner and file a complaint at this point, second would be your state’s consumer affairs dept.
