I am getting ready to PCS and would like to book a place for TLE. I'm trying to find out when the mandatory end of TLE happens. If I book 14 days at my new PDS, but I already have a lease signed and my HHG get delivered after 1 day of TLE, does my TLE have to stop at that point?
For clarification I'm considering booking a nonrefundable place, so if TLE stops after HHG delivery then I would be out of pocket for the remaining days.

I don’t think it’s the HHG delivery date that would get you, it’s the date that you move in to your new residence. From JTR, 050601:
> The lodgings occupied must be a temporary residence,
not a permanent one.
So, I think you’d get reimbursed for each night you stay in the place you book, up to the 14-day limit (assuming you didn’t use any at your old PDS), until you move into your new residence. If that’s before your stay is complete, it’d be on you to eat the difference.
