Houston/Harris County Homeowners

I spend 50% of my day telling homeowners in Houston that I cannot insure their home due to my carriers not having capacity or them not having loss mitigation measures like hurricane shutters or hail proofing. I just spent 45 minutes explaining to a woman I cannot even quote her to get a rate because she doesn’t have hurricane shutters on her $1mil house in Houston. She wouldn’t let me get a word in, didn’t know basic details about her home, wouldn’t let me explain to her that I have no products for her or how she can get quoted. And to top it off she is already with American Risk. There is no one else to insure this house and I wasted an hour of my day trying to explain this to someone who refuses to listen.
