Military Star Card -Medically Retired at 90%, will I have to pay my balance by the sep date?

My husband is retiring and we both have cards that we won’t be able to pay the full balance by the sep date, but can pay in 2 months.

Just trying to make sure we can keep the cards and keep making payments.
