From what I read in the comments it was really a compressor stall, and Boeing only installs and purchases the defective engines. Hopefully the Starliner crew comes back safely.

Did they put the rocket engines on a jet by accident?![img](emote|t5_2th52|31225)
Just your ordinary Boeing stuff
Compressor stall is not uncommon. Boeing doesn’t make engines.
The engines are leased, luckily not a Boeing responsibility or we would all be dead by now. I think it’s Rolls-Royce that does the engines, or are there other leasing companies now?
Unrelated to investing… well maybe not… if the public perception of flying is changing… but is flying getting more dangerous and accident prone or are we just seeing more reports of it?
At this rate boeing could murder people and it wouldnt effect the share price.
Another pilot error. Those Boeing pilots just can’t operate the perfectly working planes according to guidelines
Air Canada Motto:
We’re not happy unless you’re not happy
Why don’t all the airlines just get their plans inspected properly especially if they are made by Boeing?
Federal government need to take steps to ensure people’s safety.
Oh my God Boeing makes the most unsafe aircraft engines
You dont have to convince me, I already have calls
