Insurance was $500 a month it’s a Tesla Model 3, after now filing bankruptcy due to a failed business, the car insurance was lost in the bills and completely forgot about.
My plates get suspended on Tuesday, I experienced a 2 month lapse on car insurance, and no agency wants to take me but GEICO. GEICO offered me two quotes, both have the same reference number, one was $1,600 a month and the other was $2,400 a month but they are refusing to do the $1,600 a month which is so financially tight for me right now, and I don’t know what to do…

Sounds like you need to talk to an independent agent in your area who are appointed with carriers that will accept lapses in coverage.
