I've just read that the best time to look for car insurance in the UK is generally between 20 to 26 days before your current policy is due to expire. This period is considered the "sweet spot" for getting the best deals and lowest premiums, as insurers see customers who plan ahead as lower risk. How true is this? Should I be waiting 20 to 26 days before, or is 30 days OK?
