Hello, i've heard some things about PCSing overseas and leaving my spouse here in the US. I do have some questions though.

-First and foremost, I want to establish that I am currently a SFC in the Army, PCS'ing to Italy in a couple months and my wife has decided she doesn't want to leave her Job here in the US for a temporary situation in Italy.

Q1. If i PCS without her, am I entitled to BAH? And if so, is it BAH at the location of where she decides to stay? And what is the process of getting that BAH? Like, will i need to provide documents that she is paying rent/ a mortgage somewhere?
Q2. Will i still be eligible for OHA, COLA, utility stipend?

    1. You will need to request unaccompanied orders if you don’t already have them. For OCONUS moves the servicemember always has the choice to switch to unaccompanied.

With unaccompanied orders, you will be BAH with dependents for your old duty station (if your family doesn’t move) or a “designated place” (a place you choose that the Army will pay for your family to move to) or, sometimes, your Duty station after being OCONUS (if you know it).

You will not get Family Separation Allowance because you are voluntarily going unaccompanied.

You will be treated as a single servicemember at your OCONUS location. If other people of your rank are in the barracks, you will be in the barracks. If single people are getting approved for OHA, you will get FSH-O, which is equal to OHA without dependents.

You will get COLA for yourself like any other single member.
