Got a stop sign ticket on my way to the doctor for my 6 week post partum visit. Not great timing. Anyways due to having a new baby and preschooler my mind hasn’t been all there and I paid my ticket but did not sign up for traffic school. Like I said I’ve just been not all there. Now I’m worried our insurance is going to go up a lot. Like most families nowadays we can’t afford it to go up too much and I feel worried.

It is what it is. You can shop; but statistically you are a higher risk for being in an at-fault accident vs. a driver who hasn’t had a moving violation.
If you fight the ticket and win, you’re fine. If you lose, or just pay it, expect to pay heavily at any insurance company.
That conviction will show on any motor vehicle report. So any company you go with will find it, and rate you for it.
How long ago was the ticket?
If the ticket was close enough to go to court, they might give a couple months to do traffic school.
