Hey everyone, Progressive cancelled my car insurance because I didn’t answer them in time to double check some info.
The problem here is, now my auto quote doubled with Progressive due to “withholding information” which brought my monthly from $190 to $372.
It looks like this black mark is carrying over to other insurance spots, with all of my quotes seemingly gone up due to no longer having 6 months of continuous insurance.
What do I do? I can’t afford to drive my car anymore because I missed an email and mailing, I’ve never had an accident, I’ve never had a ticket, I gave all the info I could.

That’s how it works. Unfortunately you are SOL.
Obviously you gotta do what you gotta do. I have worked in insurance for almost 10 years and can never recommend state minimums.
Why didn’t you respond to Progressive in a timely fashion?
Raising deductibles doesn’t make as much of a difference anymore. You should be able to make that change online yourself.
I don’t know your financial situation, but if you pay in full most companies give a discount. So that might help offset some. We always pay ours in full.
