I rear-ended someone at a stop sign, I messed up. I waa going like 5 km/hr because I thought they were going. I tapped their car. There wasn't even a dent or a scratch on their bumper. Absolutely no damage when my car was assessed.

There car damage claim was either denied or not processed, but they got the minimum whiplash claim settled for the legal province mandated amount (think $5000) and I'm rolling my eyes since the dashcam doesn't even show the car move forward, but it's out of my hands and they got their injury money and massage treatments.

Everytime I see this person at work they try to ask if I'm willing to pay for another massage treatment for them since I'm the "dumb bitch who injured them" and I just tell them insurance should be taking care of them. Can I just tell her to fuck off or can she come after me for more money?

Insurance settled a probably fraudulent claim for way too much and the person wants more money from me??

I’m assuming when she accepted the claim money she waived the ability to pursue further damages.

If that is the case I would firmly tell her “no, this issue has been settled by insurance. I don’t want to hear anything further about the issue.” I’d be tempted to do this in person in front of witnesses as well as via email, cc hr if possible.

      This sounds like harassment.

    2. in the USA once they accept a payment from he insurance company the client of the insurance company cannot be sued for anything further by the plaintiff, they have settled. Not sure how that works there…
Not only would i tell them to kick rocks i would file a grievance with Human Resources stating you are being harassed by this person for something that has already been resolved though insurance channels.
