My partner (I’m not a dependent or spouse) has PCS and I am helping her do a PPM. I’ve been staring at the JTR and ITS YOUR MOVE docs for hours, but still confused.

If I use truck and trailer to bring the rest of the heavier items on her road trip, does it count towards reimbursement if I drive?

what if I help remove the rest of her stuff by myself on separate trip after she reports in?

Can PPM (DITY) be done by non-Member on a date after the initial move

    1. If she does a PPM, the Military will pay 100% of what it would cost for them to move the same weight from her old location to the new one. She can do all the work herself, hire someone, or ask friends and family to help.

If she uses multiple trips, the payment is still based on what moving the total weight in one trip would cost.
