I recently bought a house and got a home warranty with it. It says washer is covered but I’m not sure the stipulations.
The washer the old sellers left has visible mold in the seal, a lot of it! 🤢 And smells super mildewy. I have tried bleach and specific cleaner for it. No difference. When running the bleach through on hot and leaving the door slightly open to air out, I came out the next day and some water was standing-maybe a tablespoon or two, on the moldy rubber. Enough to dribble down the front slightly.
I’m curious if my home warranty would cover this?
