I do not have much to offer other than crayons, but hoping to get some good financial advice in return.

I did six years active, contributed 10% to my TSP Roth in G Funds (default). Got out recently, have 20K in my TSP, and finally decided that I would like to transfer my TSP. I do not know if I am being sound with transferring to my HSA, transferring to Robinhood, or transferring to my current employer’s 401K.

Look, I am willing to give you the green crayon if you make a compelling case. Rah

    1. You likely want to leave it where it is in the TSP (but get out of the G fund, damn).

Civilian 401(k)s have higher fees (normally), and transferring it to a traditional IRA will limit backdoor contributions in the future, if a factor.

So leave it. Move it to an L fund if nothing else, but get it the hell out of the G fund.

    2. I would also just leave it in the TSP but switch funds.

Definitely don’t withdraw it to send to your HYSA. You’ll pay penalties and fees. Same if the Robinhood account is not an IRA.

A Roth IRA would be an okay option as well.
