No, regards. Obviously I would know if I was an insider. But this feels like what insider trading looks like from the other side on little stocks like this fella… why would only my calls pop off? And on a day where the stock falls nearly 20%??

Bid/Ask spread blip. Just because someone was trying to sell these options for a ridiculous price doesn’t mean there was someone willing to buy them

    3. it didn’t pop off. There was a sell order for the minum bid and no buy order at close yesterday. Today with the huge movement IV went up a bit so now there’s a big for 10 cents as opposed to 0 bids from yesterday.

You see how everything else is red? because those at least had some bids at close yesterday. 12 dollar call was just so unhinged and worthless that an IV pop made it look like it went up that much.

Reality is if you tried to buy that call yesterday, you would have to pay a big spread and you would not have been up.

Bro it trades .05 increments with wide spreads. Doubt you’d get buyers at that price. Sometimes the ask fluctuates causing jumps in price for low volume options, but that’s not a real price.

    5. Op believes that the bid ask spread on rh is indicative of the price he can actually get for the options. Try selling at that price lmao 🤣

Bro I’ll help you out and sell a call for $5.00, you’re gonna make so much money bro

Let’s see the actual sale order. We know that those RH option values can skyrocket like crazy until you actually hit the sell button and the spread kicks in

All I see in this sub lately is option trading, where can an absolute moron like myself start to learn about it and lose all my money??

Sometimes I seriously wonder how the f*ck some people put their money somewhere they know absolutely nothing about.

Just DCA into etfs and big stocks let it sit and do your gambling on sports or something entertaining.
      Options are for suckers.

Suckers that brag about 1 green trade in a sea of red

    11. I want to clarify, I did not make any money off of this. I bought at $0.55 and I don’t want to explain why only because it’s embarrassing

    12. Rough_Inspection_444 on

Why would you buy options on this random ass stock with literally 0 volume if you dont even know how options work? Next time you want to throw money away just venmo me.

    13. You don’t do inside trading if you have no knowledge. If investigated they’ll look for knowledge first. If none to start with it’s not at all.

    14. It’s called sniping the option chain. Will you find a strike price that the market maker obviously messed up on. However, usually, these things are found in non liquid stocks. IE wait until try to sell.

    15. Well if you did you definitely don’t want to be posting it here. True regard move.
