I am an E5 USAR getting mobilized to Kuwait. Spouse is E6 AD receiving BAH, no kids.
Will I be entitled to BAH while deployed since I have a mortgage on my name ?
Will my spouse starts getting BAH with no dependants when I deploy?
Asked finance, getting different answers every time. If anyone have been in that situation and knows for sure ?

**BAH is not dependent on your mortgage or lease.** DFAS only cares if you have a spouse/children.
I believe both dual AD w/o children receive “BAH w/o dependents” and the same should apply in your situation.
You will both receive at the without dependents rate.
