Everytime I come here I see only NVIDA or TSLA posts and how much further this stock with a 70+ p/e ratio will go.

Meanwhile Microsoft is absolutely killing it! All their revenue streams (Azure, Office 365, Windows, LinkedIn, Bing) can greatly profit from AI, while Alphabet has so much to lose and apple is shitting the bed on AI.

I made a ton of money with this stock but I want more, so you regarded folks should gamble all your money into that one. Ok?

Why is nobody here gambling on Microsoft?

    1. Well not necessarily gambling but I agree. Microsoft is a killer company and I have some stock in them and itā€™s been printing

    2. I am up over 100% On MSFT. 18k in profits.

Recently bought calls at 435 for 1/17/25

      Up 12% on those.

      These print.

However People donā€™t want to wait long for return this sub treats investments like a casino šŸ«”

Iā€™ve tried. Lost a ton being early with my options. So Iā€™m stepping back

I have been accumulating msft since 45 $. Its been good. Not as attractive as some of the gain porn I see here but I am doing okay.

Because Microsoft is a buy and hold, not a trade. My biggest position since 2008.

I buy MSFT as part of my long term strategy. No options. Just genuinely like the stock.

I hate Microsoft and all their products with too much of a burning passion due to daily use to invest in their stock.

I donā€™t like how their employees introduce themselves like ā€œhi iā€™m bob, iā€™m a straight white maleā€¦ā€ in promotional videos, that feels extremely creepy to me.

It’s not even worth the money I spend on their OS. Their too big too fail approach is gonna bite everyone one the ass in the long run.

    10. i’ve been holding microsoft since the days when it was unpopular b/c all the tech people said the PC was dying out and balmer was running it into the ground.

    11. People circle jerk over NVDA constantly, but Microsoft is fucking everywhere and every person and every company has to work with them. Theyā€™ve won the cloud war too. Theyā€™re building fucking data centers everywhere. They donā€™t need NVDA, but NVDA needs them.

Yeah, I killed it on Microsoft as well. Figured the stock was split eventually got tired of waiting and decided to diversify my portfolio so I sold it off and bought a bunch of different stocks thanks Microsoft

    13. When it comes to stock picks I rather hold a company that it’s CEO is someone from the begining and not someone who came in late. Microsoft and google CEO kinda grinding their companies to stagnation

    14. You missed that they own 49% of OpenAI. Am I regarded or wont Msft moon once OpenAI goes public?

    15. > Causes the largest security breach of U.S. government, ever.

      > Becomes subject of SCATHING CISA report.

      > Called to congress to testify about security failures.

      > Rolls out new “feature”, which is just advanced spyware.

      > Pushback is so strong, cancels feature.

      > Gets absolutely grilled at congressional hearings.

      > I currently facing U.S. divestment in technologies, As well as EU and U.S. anti-trust action…

tbh, I have no idea why anybody here WOULD be gambling on Microsoft… besides the AI they have that they didnt even create….

Already made the gamble in 2022, put $400k in, now just sitting back happy with the double so far.

    17. I bought 5 MSFT JUN 20’25 $445 CALL for the very reasons you’re mentioning. I’m older and not expecting to ever be rich. I actually had to talk myself down from buying 10, despite my feeling this was a decent way to make use of the “risky” portion of my portfolio.

OP: “Why is nobody buying the first or second mosty widely held stock?”

    19. Iā€™ve been long MSFT since they dipped in COVID. Bought the most I could reasonably afford and have never looked back.Ā
