Alright here is my first try at some research. Warning I am rather regarded.
Looking at SOFI they have increased income year over year, and it looks like they may become profitable these earnings.
They have some of the best APY for holding money in their account. Seeing as other banks($JPM) want to start charging for accounts this could be something that sets them apart. Alot of the younger generation are looking to be more financially smart and put money somewhere that makes them money.
Looking at their stock, they look undervalued and look like they will start making a profit this earnings report if not next.
Looking at the next two weeks an in the money call looks strong with a lowish IV at 32% for 7/19 and 42 for 7/26. This week will be filled with many chances of black swan events so the IV could dramatically increase.
Saying this I really like the call prices for 7.5c but if you are not as regarded and want to be risk adverse stocks look super strong.
TLDR: I'm a regard who read a few equity research and looked at some IV histories. I really like SOFI so maybe some bias. Would love to hear what other smarter people have to say.

Holding a small position in SOFI shares and LEAPS in the portfolio. Haven’t looked at option chains in about a month or so but last I checked IV was pretty high though.
Just FYI, they have chained themselves to Apex holdings and were part of lawsuit based on automatically signing up people for share lending without their knowledge and being judicious in sharing the payouts for the loan based on their terms and passing on the liabilities for loaner upon default. This is a practice used to cover short selling to borrow at a premium whole shares.
As a service, I use their CC, bank and investment.
Recently they have been a little inconsistent with their direct depositing times but overall I would rate them good. They also paid out the referrals I have made for student loan refi and private loans to friends and family.
Their stock value has always been very unstable for trends though. Do be cautious and pick your entry.
sold my shit at 7ish, never looking back. biggest L of my trading career tbh
