Cathie Wood bought $CRWD shares yesterday. She led the “the third highest "wealth destroyer" investment fund from 2014–2023. Who is giving her the money?
I thought she was ranked the #1 wealth destroyer… 🤔

“Her flagship ARK Innovation exchange-traded fund (ETF) has received accolades for its performance in 2017, 2020 and 2023, but is also considered by Morningstar to be the third highest “wealth destroyer” investment fund from 2014–2023, losing US$7.1 billion of shareholder value in ten years”

People half-joke about inversing Cramer and Cathy but they are great to follow to use as sentiment indicators. You probably can’t just inverse everything they do but they are great to listen to in order to understand how wealth managers think about things. I’ve actually learned quite a lot from following these people as well as finance Youtubers. They always have a great story and lots of creative arguments but always seem to underperform the markets over a long enough period of time. Youtubers are even better, since they underperform much more consistently. They just hide it better.

What happens when Kathie & Cramer are on opposite ends of a stock?

She got me for 9k and ended my gambling career in 6 months. I like picturing her at the pearly gates forced to defend her TDOC pump to get in 😅

Everyone should have a picture of Cathie nearby. Before confirming your buy order, take a good look.

I recall buying ARKK back in 2020 but basically selling break even in 2021 when it started falling, and damn I am glad I did that.

Is it true they bought CRWD right before the fiasco?
