All my savings gone in just about 9 days of trading options. My first 2 bests were great and I made 100% in 2 days! Then I bought NVDA calls last Friday Odte and I got completely wiped out.
This week I put $3k on NVDA calls again and Russell 2000… All expiring Friday. The ride to hell was inevitable!

Maybe next time try to do some research
. By the way, Nvidia is rising so maybe try to have a longer call period next time. Russell 2000 can be nice but only some of them are good. Smmt, amrc, or MIRM.

In the money and close to in the money are the best to buy.

If you are an impatient person then stick to Google.

Ah yes, the dildo chart. Market lubes you up before wrecking your ass. You’ll be back for round 2.

Keep up the good work. Before you know it you’ll be in life crippling debt. I can highly recommend high intrest margin loans or selling options for that.

    4. Just use the time it takes to save up more money to learn from your mistakes. You’ll probably do really well then 👍👍

    5. Since this is your life savings, the loss would hurt. Don’t try an option until you are ready.

Next time buy longer exp not 0DTE and maybe try spreads but for now get back to Wendy’s

    7. Keep in mind CRA can say you’re speculating / day trading in TFSA which is essentially against the rules. Better off nonreg. to save up your losses for the future.

    8. I am sorry that you lost your money. You can use this as a learning experience and come back stronger. The reason you lost is because you did not trade or invest but just gambled instead. For example, buying weekly options on NVDA is a terrible idea, it is a solid stock so you should have bought shares instead.

Try to educate yourself and start small next time, maybe with $1K. Just buy a few solid stocks hold them for a while and see if you can learn and make a bit of money. Stay away from options.
