My question is what action specifically do I need to take to start my new bah rate? I have checked in with S1 but not ipac yet-I planned on taking my 10 days of house hunting PTAD asap, but I would like to begin pulling my new rate as it is much higher than my last duty station’s rate.
MyPay does not reflect the new rate, but I didn’t expect it to as I just checked in today. Is there a way to know my bah rate has changed?

It will change as of the day you checked in. If you checked in today, it’s too late to update for the pay on the 1st. I’d expect to see the change on your August 15 pay.
