Terminal leave paid out twice

I took terminal leave, however IPPSA didn’t subtract my terminal leave on separation by the time my final paycheck was calculated. I DID inform finance during out processing that I was NOT cashing in my accrued leave. I just got my final LES, and oddly enough, it payed out the leave even though I used those days for terminal leave. I’m guessing because IPPSA takes forever to update leave.

Will I be charged back for this somehow? I’m guessing my LES will just go into negative days since ippsa will subtract from zero days. But I’m already separated and my LES has been posted so my final check is definitely on the way.

Worth noting I transferred from active to reserves, I’m not sure if it’s the same financial umbrella, but the army still has a way of keeping money I will earn from them, I just don’t know if they will.

Did I get free money because ippsa isn’t any better than S1 used to be?
