Can I break a lease for getting out of the military?

My husband and I have to move out of our current house this month but he gets out early September and we want to leave the state. Almost all the rental apartments and houses that do do 3 month rentals around us more than double the rent. Is it possible for us to sign a six month lease and break it once he is honorably discharged? He’s also gone right now at a bad time and I need some advice.
