Guard Technician, AD Retirement?

I spent 15 years as AD, transitioned to the reserves as a TR for the past 5. Was getting ready to retire from the reserves when a Guard technician opportunity, full-time, opened up to me. I’m willing to take this position ONLY if it will allow me to continue on with the potential for a AD retirement. Is this possible???
