Hello, we’ve been stationed in Japan for 3 years we are landing in St. Louis to pick our car up. The tags are obviously expired. Our car is registered in NC. We can’t update the tags without a NC vehicle inspection. Can the VPC keep my car from me for tags-registration being expired? We were gonna take it to Ohio (our home state) and re register it.
