Hey all. My fiance and I are both active duty. She’s in Medical School and I am stationed in NC. We are set to get married next year, but were wondering if it made more sense to get legally married now. I know FSA exists, but would we qualify for it? We have not “officially” lived together, but will be apart for at least another year and some change until she graduates and can execute orders to co-locate with me.

Any advice on this would be great, thank you!

You won’t be eligible. To get FSA, orders have to separate you from a co-located domicile.
