Hello, everyone. I'm going to leave the Navy in a little over a year. I plan on going to college and also doing the reserves. I was wondering if I still get paid BAH during my two weeks out of the year despite getting MHA from the GI bill. I know it is probably a dumb question, but I am trying to track what I can count on for my finances when I get out
How BAH works for reserves if I'm utilizing the GI bill

To my understanding, yes.
The *specific* stipulation where you can’t receive both states (to paraphrase) “*Active duty members and spouses of active duty members receiving BAH may not receive MHA*”.
I’m not aware of any stipulation against receiving both as Guard/Reserves, maybe unless you’re on active orders (as you’d probably fall into the above rule).
You only get the housing stipend while classes are in session, if classes start Jan 15 and end may 7th, your Jan and may housing stipend will be prorated.
